The Dancing Goat Cafe & Bakery Inverness — Restaurant in Inverness

Came to Dancing Goat after being recommended by others. While the food was good, the service was terrible. They forgot to make our drinks and we had to request it after eating half our breakfast. Upon going to the washroom, the server through out a large full London fog seconds after. When questioned about it, the waitress admitted to throwing it out and offered a black coffee. We then had to purchase/pay for another drink as a black coffee was not what we had previously ordered.

First time at this location- it was quite busy and loud. Ordered lunch and coffee (6 people)- coffee was delicious as were the desserts (coconut cream bar was awesome). Sandwiches weren’t great- BLTs weren’t toasted (you’d assume they would be. It would have helped if they asked at the cash if we wanted it toasted), mayo was dalloped in the center of the bread and not spread, as was the meat. Tarragon chicken sandwich had zero tarragon flavour. Sandwiches seemed to be thrown together in a hurry. Definitely...

We went to The Dancing Goat two days in a row for take out sambos and coffee. Very generous with their sandwich filling and so fresh and tasty! I ordered a large flat white coffee both days and it is just divine! They make sure to serve it at perfect drinking temp and not scald the milk. 10 out of 10.
