I’ve done this a few times and enjoyed every moment. Definitely easier to do in the summer, but once the snowfalls could be quite difficult to find your way. These photos are from October We ended up going through seaweed when the water had receded to make our way across because the snow had filled the hills Just be careful and take your time

In May there was a ton of snow covering the trail. The first of two lookouts was nearly entirely under snow. Luckily the sea was frozen so we just followed the boot prints and snowmobile tracks along the coast until we got to the beach in Apex. Was a very pleasant and scenic walk.

Beautiful trail above the water, taken on Truth & Reconciliation Day. It is not difficult, but I am not young either! Easy section to a small lookout not far from the graveyard. It gets a bit narrow after that, and requires some clambering, but it's well worth the effort.
