I walked this trail twice one day during a visit to Kaslo. The first time I my own and later the same day I walked it in the opposite direction with my wife. For being so close town it is a really wonderful trail to walk if you have an hour or so. I was on the lookout for opportunities for some nature photos and found plenty to point my camera at. Even in October there are some flowers still in bloom. Several bird varieties and some squirrels to be seen. The river itself is quite lovely. There are several amusing concrete sculptures on the upper end of the trail which were quite unexpected and added to the walk through the forest. However, it is maintained by some really amazing people, to the best of their abilities! I definitely recommend taking a walk along some of the trail, or going on a great hike. Be careful of people with off leash dogs if you're bringing dogs of your own, as some of them aren't particularly friendly and the trail can be small in places, but your dogs will absolutely love this place as it's...
