I walked this trail twice one day during a visit to Kaslo. The first time I my own and later the same day I walked it in the opposite direction with my wife. For being so close town it is a really wonderful trail to walk if you have an hour or so. I was on the lookout for opportunities for some nature photos and found plenty to point my camera at. Even in October there are some flowers still in bloom. Several bird varieties and some squirrels to be seen. The river itself is quite lovely. There are several amusing concrete sculptures on the upper end of the trail which were quite unexpected and added to the walk through the forest. The two bridges are in themselves quite remarkable and worth a visit. I applaud the efforts of the local supporters and volunteers he erected them.

The river trail is so pretty, all year round! In the winter and spring though, it can be quite icy. However, it is maintained by some really amazing people, to the best of their abilities! I definitely recommend taking a walk along some of the trail, or going on a great hike. Be careful of people with off leash dogs if you're bringing dogs of your own, as some of them aren't particularly friendly and the trail can be small in places, but your dogs will absolutely love this place as it's great to explore!

This trail is stunning! It an be accessed from different locations. we started at lower Kalso and ended up at upper Kaslo. The river is absolutely beautiful. The bridges, that were built with community support, are incredible. The trail itself was not difficult and people with less ability can stick to less strenuous sections. This is a great trail to explore with kids. Look for the gnome!!

Absolutely amazing trail with astounding views. Especially gorgeous mid-October with all of the autumn colours. Take your time and enjoy the natural beauty.

We slowly ambled the trail in about 2 hours. There are some steep stretches but the pathways are very well maintained and easy to traverse. I especially loved the bridges over the river and the sculptures (which were kind...
