My wife and I very much appreciated touring this historic building. The history of Japanese discrimination/internment during WWII is compellingly shared here, a building where families of 6 were forced to occupy a single bedroom. Lots of photos and info is shared about the multitude of Japanese newcomers to Kaslo and beauty that came from such a horrible process.

The Langham is centrally located in Kaslo. There is lots of parking and the facility is very well taken care of. The Langham is the place to go to learn about local history, see local art and get to know Kaslo better. I recently attended a special event and appreciate the level of care taken by staff and volunteers. Thank you!
