René-Veillet Park — Attraction in Longueuil

This is a beautiful park, with lots of space for kids to play. There is a parking lot right in front of the park. The park itself is surrounded by soccer fields, a baseball diamond, tennis courts and a skate park. There are many benches and picnic tables and lots of shade. The modules are new, in good condition and lots of fun. The park features a pirate ship module, a large climbing module and a slide. There is also a beautiful splash pad to play in. During the week, it is a very peaceful park, however the schools nearby sometimes also use it, so it can be packed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great park to take...

The newly renovated René-Veillet building is nice, the rooms feel new, the building itself is more accessible, it feels like a good upgrade. However, it's a shame to have lost the second set of doors to the big hall, and the window to the kitchen. The big hall itself feels smaller as well which is unfortunate.
