Magog is a very nice little town... Worth the drive from Montreal... Which is about an hour.... Towards New Hampshire. It's not super full with tourist.. mostly local Montreal people. The drive is through winding mountain roads... Beautiful and probably amazing during the fall. Magog had a nice day where you can swim for free... Parking is about 8$. But worth it as there are parks for kids.. benches.. scenic spots to rest or picnic. Clean and friendly. There are boat cruise available of the bay... Kayaks.. bikes... All for rent. There is a small restaurant in the park which serves burgers and fries.. vegetarian options too... Ice cream and the other usual stuff. The town has many stores and restaurant. Think $20 minimum per person. It's nice... Like I said.. worth the drive. I could go on and on... But look at the pics for...

This is the best the bay has to offer, go see by yourself, beautiful flower arrangements, giant plant dragon sculpture (the "Memphré", this is a local monster ledgend). Instead of your typical cantine hut there's an awesome mexican food style joint who's perfect for a healthy and delicious summer. For cyclists a nice dedicated road goes throughout most of the bay following the pedestrian one and if you continue east you'll end up at none other than mount Orford! There are also kayaks, canoes and all the other usual suspects you can normally find. Lastly the parking is mostly not free and there are awesome tourist ships if you want to explore more or just a little fancy soirée 😉 around luxurious meals

Bonus: There is at least one "combo" fountain for dogs...

2021 December 4★ Minutes from the downtown or central Magog, this park is a favorite for the locals. Winter time here, there's a large skating trail that's maintained and resurfaced with a Zamboni. Fire pits line the skate trail with benches for you to sit and warm up. A walking trail right beside it with views of the bay. I imagine this is also a nice place when the weather's warmer too. There's a nearby rental place where you can rent skates. Parking can be limited during the peak holiday seasons. If your just visiting, this is a nice place to stop by if your into parks and...
