Fairly Good selection, Terrible product organization No effort put into restocking the proper things under the proper tag. Abhorrent Customer service.
Showed up, 20 mins before closing as the store isn't exactly next door. almost an hour in good traffic, hour an half in typical traffic.
I walk in to uncomfortably loud music over the PA, shortly after this point I heard what sounded like a Male voice say something over the PA, but I couldn't tell what it was saying due to the uncomfortably loud music.
as i'm searching the IC aisle, one of the employees decide ya know what, 15 minutes before closing is a good time to TURN OFF THE LIGHTS, while there are people shopping.
Rather than sending one of the four people out from behind the desk the employees start belligerently yelling from the front of the store to get up to the front they are closing. ( yes, yelling. not speaking over the PA for whatever reason?)
Frustrated that I cannot find my list(which consisted of merely 7 items, 5 of which i'd found at this point, all of which the website said was in stock at this location) I head to the check out.
Older person behind the counter, (who ended up being the one yelling) Asked me if i had found everything, I said no, expect ya know.. customer service.. (for example, what are you missing?, lets go get it quickly)
The response from this cranky old teller was "Well, show up earlier tomorrow and YOU should be able to find them"
In the process of checking out, he allows two individuals to Interrupt the transaction. I was standing there with my Debit card out waiting to pay. while he discusses Job opportunities with a pair of people. so the time wasted interrupting me checking out, he could have sent one of the other three people behind the counter to grab the parts I needed.
This Is not the First time I've experienced Terrible customer service and racial discrimination at this store. I can tell you for sure It is the LAST TIME.
I finished my Shopping down the Street @ Creatronic
IF you are coming from York region The extra 10-20min drive is WORTH IT in spades. If you are coming from the East end or Downtown It is closer

Read moreI shopped there few months ago for little things like parts and soldering supplies. Once I got back home (an hour away), I realized that I had forgotten my wallet on the cashier counter. I immediately called them and they said yes, we got it. Drove back and they simply asked for ID to get it returned. I kind of laughed that out as all my ID where in the wallet. I said, open the wallet, flip that compartment there and you'll see my drivers license with photo. They said, yes it's you :0) I thanked them not for just holding my belongings but also praised them to have ensured it was returned to the rightful owner. In kind, I offered to pay them lunch which they refused. I told them that it was worth it and not to worried about the management to be against it. They still refused... I then looked at the security camera and said "whom ever is watching this, I am paying their lunch and if you have a problem with that, give me a call". I then left some money on the counter and wished them a happy meal.
These people are honest and...
Read moreThis place is great if you don’t need advice. I came here to purchase parts for my son’s school project. The first staff I asked told me to hunt for the parts on specific isles. I had to flag down another staff and convince him to help me with my purchase.
For example, I asked the staff which Soldering iron do you recommend for school projects. The ADVICE I received is “they are all on isle ##, just pick one”. I go to the isle and I see 10 different irons ranging from $10 to $50.
I am sure this place is wonderful if you know exactly what you are looking for.
If you are seeking ADVICE you will need to make your case for the staff to come around the cashier desk and walk with you...
