Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Markham

First time ever at this location.

Service is okay, as expected, and they do keep the restaurant clean.

Food was awesome. As far as subs go, one of the best I've ever had. My expectations were completely exceeded today.

I ordered a BLT on white. I was surprised at how fresh the white bread was, you usually get day old white bread at other locations. And the bacon, 99% of the time it is over cooked every where you go, but today it was just the way the God's at Mr Sub's head office intended it to be! The bacon on my sub actually looked, and most likely tasted exactly, like the food prep photos/pictures, and we all know that never happens in the food industry.

The area where they made sandwiches was all full of toppings and not wiped after each sandwich made. He actually used my bread to sort of push the toppings out of the way. One guy wasn't wearing a mask at all. The concern is if he's asymptomatic and breathing onto the food which can possibly contaminate the food..so it's sad that hes careless about the safety of his customers. I hope they take this more seriously. Also instead of using a separate knife for my veggie sandwich he just wiped the regular knife with a tissue that he uses to cut the meat sandwiches. One star because there is no option for zero stars. The staff is rude. Even after mentioning the kind of bread that I wanted for my Sub thrice, the person making the Sub yelled at me asking for the same. I understand if the other person is having hearing issues, he should have asked politely instead of yelling in front of other customers. Also, the other person who was wrapping the Sub didn't asked me if I wanted it to be grilled before packing my Sub. When I requested him to grill it, he got a bit frustrated and told me that I should have mentioned it earlier, making me feel that it was all my mistake.
