Mattawa Charming Town, Where Two Rivers Meet
If you're heading west from Ottawa on Highway 17, make sure to stop in Mattawa, a beautiful town about 3.5 hours away.
We visited the Mattawa Museum and had a wonderful experience. The staff was warm and professional and showed us stunning handmade crafts by local artisans. Be sure to buy local artisan products. They’re high quality and truly one-of-a-kind.
The museum sits in a scenic riverside spot with lots of seating and parking. The town itself has parks, picnic areas, charming craft shops, and cozy local restaurants.
Highly recommend making a stop in Mattawa if you're traveling along...

We would recommend a visit to the Mattawa Museum...
