Subway — Restaurant in Mattawa

I ordered a wrap at this location. The store didn’t have the proper ingredients so the untrained staff added some sort of seasoning. When I asked why the chicken needed extra seasoning, the staff’s remarks were this is how it’s made. After the seasoning was added the staff started to mix the chicken and rice together. Turning it into almost a paste. The staff has not been properly trained. I put my complaint into corporate then received an email from the owner saying sorry it will never happen again and that was it. It was a predetermined apology letter. The owner is cutting corners on ingredients to save money. My work colleague had a very similar experience on that same visit. corporate doesn’t support any customer complaints. Service is pretty good. Food is decent. Truthfully, I personally never liked Subway. I only ever go there because my hubby likes going there. He gets a fully loaded sub that looks and smells ridiculously good, but I always get the always reliable and always delicious pizza sub on tex mex bread with bacon, green peppers, cheddar cheese with a bit of their shredded cheese; (They never have mozz cheese there sadly.) I also get those super spicy orange and yellow peppers too. It's sooooo good. 🍕 🥖🧀🫑🥓🌶 🤤 One thing I also wished they had all the time was their chili. It's wicked good. The establishment itself is pretty small. I never dine in as there are about 2 tables I think. I'm not 100% sure on that as I said I never dine in. But everything else about it is great. I'm probably going to go here again...

I had an amazing experience at Subway few day ago! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to recommend options and customize my sandwich just the way I wanted. The ingredients were fresh, and the bread was perfectly toasted — just the right balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

I loved how clean and organized the store was, and everything seemed to be well-stocked and maintained. The variety of choices, from meats and cheeses to sauces and veggies, really let me create a sandwich that suited my tastes perfectly. It’s clear that Subway takes pride in delivering quality food and excellent customer service.

Overall, a fantastic visit, and I’ll definitely be returning soon....
