We tried the wonton soup which we didn't care for that much. The broth isn't good. The wontons have a lot more meat than most though. My daughter got the chicken ball combo and I got the chicken balls with beef and green peppers. The chicken balls were good, red sauce wasn't the best. The beef was pretty decent. The fried rice we both didn't care for. It had a weird taste, like 5 spice or something in it. The general toa chicken was ok, kinda bland tbh. Should have maybe gotten more spice added. The place is very dated and kinda gross inside. Not the friendliest service, just kinda like meh I'll service you I guess vibe.

The food was absolutely delicious and authentic! We ordered the Kung Pao Special, Yang Zhou Fried Rice, and Wonton Soup—each dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The aroma and taste truly captured the essence of Chinese cuisine. It was a delight to hear the chef skillfully using the wok to stir-fry the meal, adding to the authentic experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving genuine Chinese food!

This is a small Chinese restaurant that seems very dated on the inside. At first I wanted to turn around and leave, but my wife was craving Chinese so we stayed. Glad I did! The food was excellent with huge portions of what we ordered and the server was very friendly. While we were enjoying our meal I noticed a huge number of pick up orders by I'm assuming, are local residents as we were there for lunch. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if Chinese food is what you are...

Having read an article about how small-town Chinese and Thai restaurants are often hidden gems of high quality fresh meals at bargain prices, we took a chance on this one when passing through Mattawa. Excellent find, we've eaten there several times so far! Particularly good choices are the Kung Po House Special (chicken, BBQ pork, beef and shrimp) and Pad Thai (either with glass or broad noodles, both only $11.95 and with enough left over for a decent sized lunch for 2). Highly...
