Mégamaze amusement center — Attraction in Mirabel

Today I went with my daughter and husband. The center is very nice and well maintained and my note was not for the center at all. It was for a specific service. My daughter wanted to climb on their wall. Not only did we wait for 30 mins, the employee who was working at the climbing section was extremely rude. He was passing everyone before us. We were even the first in line, he passed those behind us, before us! Then when I told him, he passed us and he went to put on the equipment of everyone but my daughter, and when it came to our turn, he said sorry you’ll have to wait again. That reached the boiling point for me. He was giving me these strange looks (although I never spoke or knew him before). Extremely unprofessional and rude employee. It was okay,average. Maybe i had higher expectations from the advertisements,looks more exciting online.It advertises a free popcorn per paid admission I paid for 4 tickets with a gift card we bought the kids for christmas. We asked about the free popcorn and was told they don't do that, that we had to pay. We paid for popcorn but it seems everyone around us had free popcorn... popcorn was given in a clear plastic bag not even a paper bag like when they ask what size we want. I checked the website it clearly says free popcorn per admission. I really like the employee who originally served us, I think they are new but spoke both English and French everyone else seemed bothered by even asking questions. It was my first time there so I didn't know. Over all paying admission(2 adults,2kids),1 drink,popcorn and 3 cups of candy cost us over $100...

They charge parents to enter, and even if you get the annual subscription that’s advertised as being “2 adults 1 child” for example - they mean two SPECIFIC adults. It’s 300$ per year for mom, dad and baby, yet if grandparents want to go with your kid without you there or if mom wants her childless adult friend to tag along without dad present you HAVE TO PAY 13$ PER ADULT who is not on the subscription! This is not only mental illness but corruption and greed. You watch your own children so the fact that adults are charged is insane. It’s not the cleanest place either. Sure, my toddler has fun but it gets old fast. Not to mention they serve popcorn which is a proven chocking hazard for kids 5 and under and sometimes it’s ALL over the floors so babies can just pick it up and choke. Very disappointing...
