Hi,
I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Aladdin’s Adventures Indoor Playground on 13 May 2023 between 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM EST at Mississauga, Ontario. Canada. Please check in your system to make sure what we are talking about make sense or not. We were doing the party here for the 2nd time and same cheap tactics used by the staff. It is run by the teenager who has no experience or ethics.
1st time experience
When we booked the venue first time during 06/2022, we asked for the extra room time and play time that we may need and was agreed well in advanced of the event. Although we spoke everything verbally, nothing was agreed and were pressurized to pay more than what has been agreed or leave vicinity.
2nd time experience
When we booked the venue for the 2nd time for our event on 13 May 2023 between 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM EST, we CLEARLY enquired about the extra room time and play time that we definitely need and was agreed well in advanced of the event. As I knew their cheap tactics, I asked the representative to make a note in the system to avoid any issues or confusion. If you dont believe in me, please check the note in your system and I have a copy of the note which I captured with my phone. In spite of this, the staff keep coming and bothering us to to leave the hall or pay extra as per the new terms and conditions which we never agreed upon. Although we agreed to pay extra as per the extra charges for the room and the play time mentioned in the note in your system, the staff comes and says that the lady who agreed the terms and conditions is not aware of the rules.
2 things to be noted here. (1) If your staff doesn't know the rules and regulations, it’s not our fault. You need to teach them or provide sufficient training. (2) The note in the system was entered and saved ONLY after the staff spoke to the manager over phone. This was done when the even was booked and NOT when the event was happening. (3) None of the staff members were helpful although they said that one member will assist you us during the event.
Although we spoke everything in written, nothing was agreed and were pressurized to pay more than what has been agreed or leave vicinity. Staff was keeping on bothering us by coming into the party room 3 times during 5:00 - 7:00 PM to discuss about new terms and conditions.
The staff were unhelpful and seemed disinterested in providing any assistance or explanation for the sudden changes. This business is totally its run by unprofessional and inexperienced fellow. This is the second time we had this experience and the whole experience left us feeling disappointed and taken advantage of. We will not be returning to Aladdin’s Adventures Indoor Playground and would advise others to avoid it as well. I wish you good luck with your business...
Read moreAladdin's is great! Very clean play areas and washrooms. The staff are always very helpful and accommodating. My son (he is 5) usually has a great time with the slides, climbing structures, and video games and if he makes fast friends its a bonus. I have a baby also that enjoys the saucer but the rest of toddler area is really for toddlers and kids 5 and under (infant). There is a graduated system for each area which is nice to see...kids can work there way up to the bigger structure area as they become more confident. And all of the structures are in one massive room. Lots of space to sit and chill.
There are two televisions there that usually play the news (CP24).
So why only 4 stars? There are three games (out of 7+ I believe) that usually none of the kids likes to play and one of them is a foosball table which I am convinced is an accident waiting to happen due to the placement of the handles that sometimes stick out. Foosball should be banned from all indoor parks for kids. They are eye level for many kids aged 4 to 6 and placed in areas where children run around freely...it would be absolutely painful and gruesome if an accident happened. I have no qualms about mentioning this in the comments because I have mentioned it to the staff and the majority agree with me...so hopefully it will be removed someday. The other two games are the type that you can win a DVD or a toy...the ones that nobody wins and hardly anyone plays again after the first time. Not worth keeping in my eyes but it might make money when I am not there.
The TVs...even thou I really like the news...it would be really great if one of the TVs could be Treehouse or TVO kids. The news can be so grim with the shootings and death. I am sure if asked Aladdin's staff might change it. Even thou kids are not there to watch tv it would just be more appropriate to see kid things and not the aftermath of a car crash on CP24 on both tvs.
If you are like me and have latex allergies and/or have hearing sensitivity to loud noises than Aladdin's can be a problem. They are not a latex free balloon facility.
Overall, I would return to Aladdin's (and have multiple times) because it is a very good place for the kids to have fun and for parents to have conversations. I am a scattered mess most of the times and the staff/management/owners make things so easy for me...they are wonderful and informative! There are comfortable sofas. Free wi-fi. Coffee, tea, and lots of snacks (biggest selection I have ever seen) is available for purchase. They have rental rooms for birthday parties...my two cents won't help with this because I have never celebrated a b-day there but kids and parents look like they are having...
Read moreAfter looking up several indoor playgrounds online, we decided to come here! We took our toddler here this past weekend. This was his first ever indoor playground. Upon arrival my husband and I were very excited for this experience. When we had entered, the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. We removed or shoes, after we checked in, and proceeded to the infant/toddler area. The area was clean, tidy and so colourful! We normally let our toddler be free and explore new surroundings as we stay back and watch him venture out. During our time here we did not get that chance.. there were older children running through the infant/toddler area which made us follow and stay right behind our toddler. There was also a moment when an older child took a soft cushion chair and moved it then walk away to a toy.. my toddler went to use the chair and the older child had said 'thsys my chair!'. I had to redirect my child until it was clear for him to use the chair. I feel that the infant/toddler area should have an age restriction.. having older children running around the small area made us very worried. Like I said, we're laid back people majority of the time and when it comes to most things.. but things can happen so fast when a small area has such a jump in childrens ages.
Overall, fun, clean place! And I do...
