Not an easy wave for those used to surfing in the ocean - quite technical due to its width and power IMO - but the sunsets and sunrises are all worth it. I would recommend to take the initiation courses at ksf if you’d like to learn how to surf there. Remember it’s a river with current (although many would tell you it’s not a strong one), everyone should approach this with caution and prioritize their own safety. Once you take the courses at ksf you will be allowed to rent their equipment if you haven’t decide whether you’d like to get your own as it can be quite an investment if...

Very nice little spot. Very safe. The wave is not very strong fyi, it does require good technique and strong paddling. The water is warm in the summer (25 Celsius). There’s also a surf shop nearby that...
