Read moreThe place is not big but it is well laid out. There is an NB section with exhibits on the NB regiments for the last 200+ years. (I didn't know there was such a thing!) There is another section on the many wars the Canadian forces were involved in all the way to the involvment in Ukraine. There are many artifacts including clothing, guns and well written explanations. We spent 1 1/2 hours there and we really enjoyed it. My only complaint is the signage to the building. I am totally pleased with my visit to the museum. The quality and curatorship of the objects was excellent and I found the person that was staffing of the museum that day to be wonderful with his interest in making sure I was fully aware of the facilities available at the museum.
As has been mentioned before this isn't a large facility but it's got a huge heart and it's shown by the care in which it shows its exhibits.
It is well worth the trip and it's a perfect visit for someone who wants to break up a drive between the Nova Scotia...
