Chippawa Lions Park — Attraction in Niagara Falls

Chippawa Lions Park is a fabulous park and a great place to take your kids, especially in the summer. It seems like any old park at first glance, but the more you spend time there the more you love it!

There's a swimming pool (that's free) and a splash pad for the little ones. There's a public washroom that's open in the spring/summer. There's a playground for both little ones and bigger kids that has soft astro turf.

There's plenty of shade to stay out of the sun too. It also has, baseball diamonds, basketball nets, tennis courts and it even has a running path that's measured out. The outer perimeter of the park measures 1km for those wanting exercise. There's also a small skate park.

Plus, you are walking distance to Avondale, Foodland and the ice cream shop for a treat. It has a great community vibe when the weather is nice.

The only slight complaint I have is that sometimes you hear language you would NOT want your kids to hear from the older kids that go. Complaining doesn't stop it. I don't let it deter my family from enjoying the park.

This park has something for everyone and it's a great place to get outside and enjoy some community atmosphere.
