North Bay's best playground! This park features a wheelchair accessible play structure with soft rubber surface, slides, spinning wheels, swings, monkey bars, climbing walls and so much more. Surrounded on three sides by fences this is a very safe park where your kids can roam while parents get caught up on life. My favourite feature is the adjacent exercise park with outdoor equipment featuring recommended exercises. Fun for the whole family, make this a fun outdoor destination for your family. Also has a skating circuit in the winter. Change benches are provided and the area is very well lit for night skating.

First time visiting North Bay, Ontario and I must say, I was a excited & delighted. Visiting Lee Park showed me that there's so much to explore and learn. There's a bike trail that connects to the park, a monument of a large retired RCAF plane and there are other bits of things to also learn about the park and it's history as you look around it's surroundings. I'd definitely recommend this park to any adventurist or tourist new to the area or is looking to take a bit of history back with them, you'll definitely find some here.

I bring my niece here whenever she is visiting from down south. She loves this park so much there's so much to do. I also like that there is no back entrance to this park. Everything is fenced off at the back so there's no possibility of someone walking in and grabbing a kid from a different angle. There's plenty of seating for the adults that face the park. And there is a washroom nearby about a 2-minute walk away from the main park.

This is such a great park for families to hangout. During the winter the overpass is used for sledding, the city builds this massive ice skating path which is great. The park is also a great park. The only downside is that during the lockdown and after the lockdown the freedumb convey shows up on Saturdays at 1pm and conquers the parking lot and blasts terrible music and who knows what else. The last time I was there was to take the kids skating we had to leave along with many many other families because these losers didn't care about anyone else other then themselves. Yes this harsh and I don't really care, but avoid Lee Park Saturdays around 1 till around 2 or 3, unless you like little people with big trucks talking about their years of science research from Facebook and compelling...

My kids absolutely love this park. The play structure was recently redone and it's awesome! It has a new version of a playground "roundabout/carousel" that is built into the ground so nothing can go underneath it. It has swings and baby swings and a play structure for bigger kids and another for littler ones with benches inbetween. The ground around the structures is bouncy and fairly soft and the rest of the park is grass, except for the bike path and walking path. There's washrooms that are only open in the summer. During the summer months there's often different sorts of festivals/events/food vendors that take over the grass field/parking lot. In the winter they usually make the parking lot into an outdoor...

Defeat Depression was an amazing fun time for Volunteering and the weather was fabulous..Great event with so many beautiful ppl both young and older. All involved in a great cause.. The 5 km run was not stressful and so many ppl brought there pets and kids in support of a great cause. Many dignitaries also spoke about there own reasons for being there today.. Like another mental illness no one is immune and it can hit at any age and anytime. Amen to ppl for there support in every way just knowing we have ppl available to help us weather our own personal storms is fabulous for support. 1 in 5 are affected by Depression and its affects. With this we can all obtain the help we...
