Relaxing little park in the heart of Artisanal mural town Chemainus. Historical park with homage to the Coast Salish, logging and maritime history of the community. The park connects New Town and the Old Town sections of the community and its shopping, cafes and businesses.
There is a brand new walking labyrinth maze by the Rotary Club and Mural society. This adds to the bandshell that has free music and performances all summer. There are carved murals, Waterwheel relics and a boat structure for kids to play on.
Adjacent to the park is a public washroom, museum and visitor centre. Ample parking , wheelchair accessible and even electric car charging.

Nice people and great shopping experience from liquor stores, grocery stores and gift shops. A friend and I drove bicycles from Vancouver, BC to Tsawwassen. Took two ferry boats with one stop bike ride on Salt Spring Island. Nature is beautiful and preserved, islanders are tough and rude from outside but very nice, informative and helpful.
