Relaxing little park in the heart of Artisanal mural town Chemainus. Historical park with homage to the Coast Salish, logging and maritime history of the community. The park connects New Town and the Old Town sections of the community and its shopping, cafes and businesses.

There is a brand new walking labyrinth maze by the Rotary Club and Mural society. This adds to the bandshell that has free music and performances all summer. There are carved murals, Waterwheel relics and a boat structure for kids to play on.

Adjacent to the park is a public washroom, museum and visitor centre. Ample parking , wheelchair accessible and even electric car charging.

In he evenings the trees of the park are...

Nice , quiet place. It's in the city of murals on Vancouver Island. Definitely something to visit! If you want to invest, this is a place to hide your money and wait to grow! Nice people and great shopping experience from liquor stores, grocery stores and gift shops. A friend and I drove bicycles from Vancouver, BC to Tsawwassen. Took two ferry boats with one stop bike ride on Salt Spring Island. Nature is beautiful and preserved, islanders are tough and rude from outside but very nice, informative and helpful. Actually we got some freebies including food and overnight sleeping!...

The whole area is filled with our island history. If you're an artist like I am then please check it out. There's art EVERYWHERE. Well done! Also the art is done in every medium you could think of. From paintings on buildings, carved wood, glass... You just have to see it. I was there for a day. I will be coming back. Who knows if you're an artist you may have an opportunity to sell your art on one or...

Waterwheel Park in Chemainus is such a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the town. It’s right by the water with a nice playground, picnic areas, and beautiful gardens. I love how it connects the heart of Chemainus—there’s the waterwheel, murals, and even the museum nearby. In summer, they have live music and markets which really bring the place to life. It’s a peaceful place to sit, stroll, or just take in the view.
