Oliver Visitor Centre — Attraction in Oliver

The Oliver Farmers Market is a must-visit! My wife and I enjoyed our trip on June 29, 2025. It runs every Sunday from May 25 to October 5, between 9 AM and 1 PM. You'll find it conveniently located in the park right by the Visitor Centre, with the added bonus of abundant free parking. There's no shortage of shade and benches, making it a comfortable spot to unwind. We especially appreciated that you can sample local products, including some excellent gins, and every stall owner was genuinely warm and welcoming. The owner of the stall selling gin actually offered me to stand behind his stall and took my picture while holding a gin. The free live music, which you can see in the background really adds to the vibrant atmosphere....

Yes, Oliver is the "Wine Capital of Canada" and this was a great spot to start our visit. This visitor centre gave us a great taste of information, wine maps, information and of course the wine passport, that each winery will stamp your visit. The best part is all the wineries are listed on the back and 41 in total....
