Two playgrounds, which are great for kids, an impressive Totem, plenty of seating and public restrooms open part of the year. The water, however, is usually unsafe to swim in, and despite signs saying otherwise there never seem to be lifeguards around when the water IS safe. There's a nice grassy area with a chessboard, a few old trees and a smaller and quieter section of beach on the eastmost side. on the westmost side by the old Monarch Liqueurs building it's overgrown and could definitely use a little work. Proximity to Stop 26 is its biggest plus.

We are so fortunate to have an actual beach here in Windsor. It is relatively small, but sandy and safe for swumming. Today I met with a friend and we explored the other side of Sandpoint (aka. Stop 26), which is the walking trails behind the beach. We actually walked through several paths and trails, and ended up at the WFCU center. Holy cow, I had no idea that was possible! We saw several different kinds of birds, including a bald eagle and a couple trumpeter swans. It was a great experience, and another lovely little area in Windsor.

This is probably the only beach in windsor where you can swim. It has beach on both sides and a platform with chairs in the middle, even has a changing room and washroom in summer. There are plenty of draft wood and the beach is also not raked to remove some of the spiky stuffs in sand. On season, plenty of people, ice cream available close too, great breeze and a chance for swimming. Parking lot next door is free too. I’d say “Anakin Skywalker” may like this place as it has a lot of younger people and not too much sand.

Sand Point Beach is a fantastic spot for a day out! The sandy shores and clear waters make it an ideal place to relax, swim, and enjoy the sunshine. The facilities are well-maintained, and there's plenty of space for picnics and other activities. One thing to note, though, is the designated dog area. It's great that the beach has a specific spot for our furry friends to enjoy, but it would be even better if everyone respected this setup. Sometimes, people spill over into the dog area, making it difficult for dogs to enjoy their designated space.Overall, Sand Point Beach is a wonderful destination, and with a bit more consideration from visitors regarding the designated areas, it would be perfect. I highly recommend it for a fun and relaxing day...
