V-Desi Superstore — Attraction in Ontario

I've been dealing with a new employee lately, and his behavior has been quite unpleasant. About a week ago, when the cashier machine was malfunctioning, he instructed me to interact with it. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and didn't thoroughly check the bill. Later, I realized he had added three items to my total that weren't mine. I didn't have the time to go back and complain. During this incident, he spoke to me in a rude manner, even refusing to provide a plastic bag. (march-06-2024 10:18 am)

Today, when I returned, the same employee took my items out of the plastic bag and consolidated them without asking. His behavior has been consistently unpleasant. As far as I know, he is new in Vdesi, but his attitude needs to be addressed to ensure better service in the future. 2024-03-11 (time 11:08am)

Decided not to visit the store...

The variety of food is good. The people there in charge are very polite. But this store sales expired products, especially frozen products. If you don't check while buying then you might not even notice this because we are sure that the store is being responsible as a seller. But that's not the case.

I am a regular buyer of this store and I buy lot of products from there. And I try to make sure that the products are not expired. But even then sometimes I miss and end up with outdated products. Yes, if you go there with bad products, they will exchange it. But what's the point on selling expired/outdated/bad quality food in the...

Good store for south-asian snacks, groceries as well as other miscellaneous items. About 7/10 times you'll find what you need.

Staff has always been kind and helpful but be careful about a few things.

Avoid buying kurkure that are 'imported from India'. I had an experience and have heard similar experiences from my peers as well.

They sell the sambar from chillers instead of freezers. The product is supposed to be freezed and not to be chilled. But because it is chilled, it stays in a liquid form and fermentation starts. You might see some packs that have puffed so definitely avoid...
