Stomping Ground — Attraction in Ottawa

Just the worst costumer service I’ve ever experienced. I walked around the store and stood at the shoe section for literally 10-20 minutes without anyone even looking my direction. My dudes, I was about to drop a preverbal bag on some back to work shoes & clothes. Instead you guys literally sold a pair of 23 dollar socks and talked to your homies for 20 minutes (run the camera back - you sold a pair of socks and then some shoes to a different dude who who came in after I did). By the time someone came over, I asked for one size for one shoe… without hesitation the sales associates said he didn’t have it in my size (even though your website literally said you had a pair in my size [size 10 reeboks]) and immediately walked away to go talk to another costumer or a friend again - idk it was hard to tell the difference… I then proceed to have to find the same sales associate to ask for another pair of shoes and I got the same response. If you didn’t have such cool stuff I’d probably never go back.

Note: I still ended up buying a book… 54 bucks… I was prepared to spend 500+ today… let that sink in...

I had a great experience buying my Air Force 1s from this independent retailer. I’d been searching everywhere for my size and the exact color I wanted, and this was the only place that had them in stock. The pricing was better than what I’d seen at bigger stores, which was a nice bonus, and the shipping was fast—I got my order sooner than expected.

I was exploring the neighborhood and stumbled across Stomping Ground. Wow, what a store! Beautifully curated men's clothing and definitely gender neutral as well. It is high-end selections but you can tell that the materials and the brands were meticulously chosen. It's clear that the people who own/work there know what they're talking about. I used to be a visual merchandising manager and it was a real pleasure to walk around the store and go through the pieces. Definitely would recommend and can't wait to go back...
