Had overnight camping here with family and couple friends (sometime August 2017, review late post) The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The place is always clean and the staff is always looking after the whole place. The Okanagan Lake is just across the campsite the water is crystal clear clean. Value for the place is worth the stay. The place is secured as there is one entrance & exit the whole place is all fenced up.

Came back here July 2019 with 3 other families. We were a bit loud on late hours on our first night and we got visited twice and on that 2nd time we were threatened to be evicted, most of us really had a difficult time to convince the others that we are already loud. The thing that annoys me was on how the lady delivered her message to us, she is kind of bossy. The next day she approached our campsite and with her hands on her waits (with the loud voice) telling our group that if we do not comply with the quite hours tonight we will be forced to leave the premises (she could have delivered the message on a better way if she had not let her anger go over her head). Then I approached the office a few minutes later to level down the heat as I think we are already on her radar. I apologized in behalf of the group and she accepted the apology but still she had her bossy moves again saying (while pointing out our campsite) then we will be forced to leave if a sound is...

Feeling ripped off. READ THE FINE PRINT on any emails they may send you. We booked this online from my office, and arrived at 10:00 PM the appointed day (but learned when we got there that check in closed at 8:00). I hadn't seen that in the emails.... It would have been no problem from our perspective, but they charged us $25.00 LATE FEE (and informed us of this AFTER they'd charged our card). The 8:00 deadline for checking in "was all in the emails we sent you after your confirmation".... I was told. I looked, and didn't see it in the emails. The $25.00 charge they helped themselves to left a very sour taste with us. The gal then said on the phone "it's a liability issue"..... what? What liability do you incur by us coming at 10:00, and how on earth does helping yourself to $25.00 from me alleviate it? I suppose people can run their business the way they want, but this felt a little 'opportunistic'.

We are, by the way, about the easiest going guests you'll have.... a married couple in our late 50's.... we're not looking for trouble or drama.... just a place to sleep for the night..... and to be on our way in the morning........... we don't want a fight or to get 'in your face'.... but we felt ripped off in this...

We came here camping with our 28 foot trailer in the summer. The moment we arrived we were being helped by the staff. They even assisted me backing the trailer into the spot which I was very appreciative because I am not overly skilled backing up.

The facility and campground was amazing. We had 3 kids with us and for cautious parents to begin within a few days the kids were roaming around the campground with new friends they met. It's very family orientated. We also brought our dog with us and noticed tons of dogs also. I'm glad I saw all the dog owners were responsible cleaning up after their dogs as there isn't much green space for them.

The bathrooms were always clean and the showers were nice and clean (in the morning). After the busy rush it's bought to get a bit dirty but nothing bad.

We didn't notice any bugs. The beach was not great thought. It's all rocks. The kids didn't overly mind but us parents did. The dogs feet got sore so bring your dog some shoes if your going to let him be on the beach during the day.

There is a liquor store a few minute drive away.

Overall we had a blast and will...

This nice little RV/tenting campground is located right across the road from Lake Okanagan but also down the hill from hwy 97 so can get some traffic noise. Some parts are a little tight but very manageable if you take your time. The campground owners/caretakers will gladly help you maneuver your trailer in. Our site was a little small as we couldn't fully open our slides and awning because of the power pedestal on one side and a tree on the other side. This however was not a big deal. We had one minor power fluctuation that caused our surge protector to kick in but power was restored in short order. There are picnic tables at each site but no fire rings. You can only use propane fire bowls at your site. Our 35 foot 5th wheel fit snugly in the site and had to park the truck across the road in a designated parking stall. There is a little grass but mostly gravel. Water pressure was ok as was the Wi-Fi signal. All in all a nice stay for a few days to enjoy Peachland and the surrounding area.

Would not waive the cancellation fee, even though the area was under an evacuation order 24hrs before we would be arriving. “BC wildfire is currently overstating the situation of the fire” is what I was told. “I’m sorry that you feel that way however our business is being affected by a situation that is being overplayed. We are sorry that you feel your holiday would have been ruined.” Right, I’m going to drive from Calgary to go camping in an area that was evacuated yesterday. Without knowing if it would be safe to do so. Also, not camping in a place with my children where I can physically see a fire burning and be in the smoke filled air in our tent trailer. Definitely Won’t be trying to book again next summer. Edit** posting my text messages to you (not verbal abuse) you didn’t even bother to call me back.

Stayed for a week and wished we booked for a month! This spot is a slice of heaven! Right next to the lake which has lots of benches and docks to explore. The RV park is surrounded by beautiful trees, well kept up and clean. Jesse and everyone we chatted with was so kind and helpful. We used the laundry room and the machines worked great. Its takes loonies, so good to have those on hand. There is a community fire pit area that had pretty flowers around it. Bathrooms were clean and great. There is also a cute wooden playground with swings our kids enjoyed. Nice picnic bench at each site. We enjoyed eating meals outside, surrounded by the beautiful nature backdrop. The RV park is a great location to downtown and lots of activities. Hoping to come back and visit soon!
