It is a park, nothing special, except when it host events, like Canada Day is the best with a stage show and fireworks. It has become smallervevrnt because less venders now, and no more beer tent. There is a tenniss court, baseball and two soccer fields, and a large children's playground. And across the street you can walk around Robertson Park to look at the wood carvings from local sculpter. Read moreAbsolutely found this beach and park on a complete fluke. Was walking through some trails in West Pickering and ended up coming to a beach that was absolutely packed on the weekend. Lots of different people were there having picnics, sunbathing and playing in the water which didn't look too deep up to thirty or forty feet out. Great family spot on the other side...
