We decided to take a mid-day pause at the Art Cafe, relishing the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors on their open patio. Situated within a short stroll from the waterfront, this idyllic spot immediately caught our attention. Upon stepping inside, a warm and welcoming staff extended their greetings.
It was a hot day, so I decided to give their iced coffee a shot, given the limited selection available. While it didn't exactly match my flavor preferences, my partner's choice of iced tea was a more gratifying selection, even though the supply ran short and the cup wasn't entirely filled. The staff, however, were gracious in their apology for the inconvenience.

Read moreThere was no liquid sugar for my iced coffee so I ended up paying $5.75 just for five pumps of sweetening syrup alone which is equivalent to 2 Tablespoons lol. The sweetener cost the same as the actual coffee?????
$17.20 total for an iced coffee and a muffin - the muffin was 4.50 so my coffee was over 12$
When I said she was more expensive than Starbucks she told me Starbucks isnât real coffee - which had no correlation whatsoever because I wasnât complaining about the price of the coffee only the price of the syrup .. which is the same brand as the syrup at Starbucks.
Also btw I donât support Starbucks ONLY local coffee shops I was just comparing to that because Starbucks is known to be pricey.
Overall just a lousy experience. Better to just not mention the cost of the syrup and just raise the prices of the ârealâ coffee since this place is the only place that has real coffee...
Read moreUsed to come here during the pandemic because I wanted to support local business. Plus it was an excuse to get out of the house when working from home. The coffee they use is pretty decent, I use it myself, though I have a recently changed brands. The owner is super nice and remembers faces. The food is about what you would expect as a coffee shop, I personally enjoyed the coffee pastries. The only criticism I have is the price was a bit high at least when I was going, not sure what it is now. The service was a little slow, I usually would only go in the middle of the day when there wasn't other people. I personally don't mind myself, but you might wanna consider taking the taataa's off the wall. Lots of people come by with their kids, some more sensitive to that sort of thing than others. Otherwise, the place is a solid local coffee shop. I definitely miss it...
