The Highway #19 at its Northern side ends with a carrot, placed inside this park aptly named as Carrot Park. There is a half-bitten Carrot structure erected in this park and it is a commemorative symbol that residents of the Northern island wanted a finished highway. There is also a monument in the park to remind everyone of the sacrifices the Islanders made during the two world wars. There is a lot of fascinating history in this place and this park stands as a gentle reminder of the same.
