Oh, let me tell you about my recent visit to the Market Street Cafe in Port Hardyโ€”it was an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an atmosphere that exuded both cleanliness and coziness. The warm, welcoming decor immediately made me feel right at home, and I knew I was in for a treat.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food. The menu was a delightful mix of local and international flavors, offering something for every palate. The presentation was as impressive as the taste, and it was evident that they take great pride in their culinary creations.

But what truly set the Market Street Cafe apart was the staff. They were not just friendly; they were like old friends welcoming you to their home. Their genuine smiles and eagerness to make my dining experience exceptional made all the difference. They were quick with recommendations and made sure I had everything I needed throughout the meal. It's rare to find such a dedicated and personable team.

The location, right in the heart of Port Hardy, is a bonus. Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through, you won't have to go far to enjoy a fantastic meal. It's a spot where you can truly soak in the charm of the town while savoring delicious food.

In conclusion, I can't recommend the Market Street Cafe enough. It's the kind of place that leaves you with a satisfied belly and a big smile on your face. If you're in Port Hardy, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You won't be...

I have been coming here a lot over the past few years, since I moved to the area. I thought it was a really nice place, more relaxed then most and specifically I went because I thought it was family friendly. I am a single parent, with a high needs son and I rarely go out to restaurants because I know we aren't "perfect" guests, but I was pretty devastated going up to the till, I had planned on buying a lot of their merchandise they have around but I had a few question and needed them to get something out of the display case...only to loudly hear the cook and server mocking my child in the back, saying "it didn't even sound like a kid" and then talking about other experiences of special needs children in other restaurants....but making fun of them, laughing at them. Having been both a bartender and waitress myself, I was pretty dissapointed at the lack of tact and self awareness. They were talking less then six feet from where I was standing, loudly....a half wall doesn't make a person inaudible. There are different people in this world and I should not feel like my son is unwelcome in a place because the staff will openly mock his disability. It was humiliating, dehumanizing and just...

This cafรฉ is an absolute rare findโ€”a must-stop if you're in the neighborhood! From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed by friendly faces and an inviting atmosphere that feels like home. The food? Absolutely delicious. Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast, a fresh-baked treat, or a perfectly brewed cup of coffee, every bite and sip is made with care.

Fun fact: You get to pick your own mug, adding a personal touch to your meal that makes the experience even more special. This place isn't just a cafรฉ; it's a community hub where conversations flow as easily as the coffee.

Do yourself a favorโ€”stop by, soak in the warmth, and enjoy a meal you...

Absolutely awesome diner, the plates are packed to the brim with very delicious selfmade foods that are enough for a German Viking like me. Also they have the most energetic and high spirited waitress I have ever seen, that alone made my day! Great place all around!
