Cash for cars Edmonton, A great place to visit with children is one that offers plenty of opportunities for play, exploration, and fun, all within a safe and welcoming environment. Whether it’s a spacious park, an engaging indoor play center, a family-friendly museum, or a nature trail with interactive elements, the best spots are those where kids can be active, use their imaginations, and learn through play. These places often feature play structures, open spaces for running, creative activities, or educational exhibits tailored to younger audiences. The ideal destination will not only keep the children entertained but also allow parents or guardians to relax and enjoy watching their kids have a great time. It’s always a bonus when the location includes amenities like clean restrooms, shaded areas, snack options, and seating for adults. Overall, a nice place to play and take the kids should combine fun, safety, and convenience, creating lasting memories for the...

Beautiful, spacious, and tons of picnic spots. The only, and big, downside of this location is that it's pretty much wedged up against the north east intersection of Fox Drive and Whitemud Drive, next to Quesnell Bridge... So it's not a really a quiet park.

But the great thing about this versatile park is that it's connected to the northern trailhead for the Whitemud creek/valley trail and park system. Which is Edmonton's greatest and super ecologically diverse trail system. With just a five minute walk into the valley trail, starting from Whitemud park, you will have to keep on reminding yourself that you are still in Edmonton, or any city for that matter.

Whitemud creek/valley is absolutely stunning. So if Whitemud park is too loud with vehicle traffic for your personal tastes, then just take a few minutes to walk up into the trail entrance and be prepared to feel like you've been magically transported directly into a wonderfully thick and far...

I LOVE going tobogganing at this park! I take my family all the time. Pack a lunch, make a day of it, create memories!

There is a warm-up shack with washrooms which are very clean. The are benches and a wall of window that faces the hill so you can watch and stay warm if your children are old enough to go sledding on their own. There is even a classically overpriced soda vending machine in case you didn't pack a lunch. The hill is not groomed so the traffic going down the hill can make it bumpy and slick.

This should go without saying but just in case you have never gone sledding on a hill ever... YOUR CHILDREN CAN GET HURT TOBOGGANING PEOPLE SO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE HELMETS! Use your discretion when the conditions are...

One of the best parks in the city if you're looking for quiet wilderness. The trails are well maintained, no garbage anywhere and generally it's quiet and peaceful. There's a recreation centre with rec rooms and clean public bathrooms. The trails are fantastic for walks or runs and there's open spaces for pucbics or to throw a frisbee. If you want to leave town without leaving town, this place is for you.

Whitemud Park is larger than I could have imagined. People can enjoy the view of the North Saskatchewan River Valley here. There are multiple trails for walking and hiking, allowing people to choose different trails based on their fitness levels. We came here in the summer, and some people were walking with their dogs that day. We also came across squirrels. It was very pleasant.

I came across this park by accident but I'm glad I did. A couple of areas with tables for picnics. Didn't get the chance to walk around much as we were just looking for a spot to have lunch. Definitely will go back and hit up a trail n enjoy the scenery on our walk, all around the riverside and across a couple of cool bridges too. Lovely little area.
