Gorge Waterway Park Path — Attraction in Saanich

I love walking along here as it is very peaceful and tranquil at times. Plenty of great views along the pathway. Beautiful Victorian houses lining the side of the waterway. Great place to get some fresh air, exercise and perhaps take your furry friends for a good walk. There are benches dotted along the way in case you need a break or just want to relax and take it all in. It was an amazing May Monday when I needed a good walk. I have huge joint pain issues and needed a level walkway. I drove from Langford to the Gorge and found a great handicapped parking space and grabbed my walking poles and headed west. Wonderful people full of "Good mornings" and many dogs. Great walkway. Absolutely outstanding horticulture! A bit more pretentious then Beacon Hill with dog walking. Beacon Hill knows and allows dogs of all stripes and walking off leash.
