If you haven’t eaten at this place yet, it’s a must! Here is why:
Food is fresh, tastes delicious, comes out within a good time frame, and at the right temperature, and is cooked fresh! Everything we enjoyed tasted delicious and was cooked well- for example, the chicken was cooked well, and not at all dry but moist and juicy! The fries aren’t greasy, instead they are crispy (just the right amount of crisp) and seasoned well. Fantastic portions, and fair prices.
The kitchen is clean, from where you stand to order, you can see the team working.
Customer service is friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was our first time in and we didn’t feel rushed, we felt welcomed and the team member taking our order was helpful and knowledgeable. Additionally, family friendly— with a toddler that is a must for us!
All in the details: as someone who unfortunately can’t enjoy gluten, I opted out of the pita, & for the first time since discovering I could not eat gluten (over 10 years), here, I was offered a side as an alternative! I cannot express enough, how appreciative I am for the option to choose an alternative to the gluten component of the meal- to some it may not seem like a big deal, but when you’re so limited in your outdoor dining options, and feel you’re already missing out the few times you do manage to find a place to eat out at, having an option offered when the other one is unfortunately not suitable for you (whether you opt for it it or not) makes all the difference. Thank you. For the first time in my dinning out experience, I felt included.
Another very important detail for our family is sustainability- we appreciate how eco conscious they were in their packaging, and that they had designated bins for waste, including a compost! The containers are compostable, so please help this place continue to make a positive impact for our planet and do your part as a customer and community member- use the correct bins! Additionally, their bags aren’t plastic but a fabric of sorts, so easily reusable.
I am so glad we stopped here to enjoy delicious food, and highly recommend you do too!
Keep up the great work Gyrosa team, and thank you for the great food...
Read moreThe food was really amazing honestly, the fries were still crispy after my ride home, the gyro tasted great and was still fresh too which isn’t usually the case with most take out foods.
My only complaint was the service from the lady at the front. I don’t know if it was just too loud and she couldn’t hear me, or if she straight up wasn’t listening when she took my order. It started with her asking take out or dine in, I replied just taking a look first, to which she said “OK TAKE OUT, what would you like?” I was like ok I have just walked in and not even read the menu yet lol.
Next I asked for 2 beef gyro boxes, one with caesar salad, one with greek. Then she asked if I was just going to carry it out or needed a bag, I replied a bag would be great please to which she replied sure thing.
When picking my food she didn’t put it in a bag, I didn’t want to make a big deal of it and just walked out (though I know I got charged for it). Then when I got home I discovered they gave me a greek salad instead of caesar salad I ordered.
All in all yeah I was put off by the service but the fries and gyro made up for it. Like the last time I had a gyro this good was at the greek place in westshore mall before it closed years ago and haven’t found any substitutions for that place until today. Seriously a MUST try, I’ll definitely come back if I’m craving greek.
PS just a polite suggestion, there was no way to really identify the person taking orders due to how/where they were standing with no obvious uniform. Something more identifying might benefit guests because I was so confused with who was talking to...
Read moreWe dined in at Gyrosa just before the lunch time crowd arrived and were able to secure a table for four of us; good thing we did, because this is a very popular place for quick Greek fast food. The serving time was really fast and the service was friendly and solicitous. They really want to make a good impression and it shows. But there weren't enough seats for everyone to have lunch there and that's an issue with such a popular eatery--I'm sure they're scoping out a bigger venue to address this??
We all enjoyed our meal immensely and the food was tasty. We ordered a couple of beef gyros, one chicken gyro and a salad meal, with sides of Gyrosa fries and Greek salad. It all tasted good, but there is only a choice of beef and chicken... I expected a more traditional gyro with spiced meats including lamb, and thus I was a bit disappointed in only the two choices. In my opinion the beef tasted better than the chicken.
But what's with the Gyrosa fries in the gyro?!?! I had a side of fries, and didn't feel like the fries in the gyro added anything. In fact I felt like it was "filler", taking away from the already tasty wrap. Meals are sold at a premium price, so there's no reason to not stuff premium ingredients into the wraps.
That's totally me. I enjoyed my meal. There's plenty of free parking. The staff was great. Make sure you time your visit NOT to stuck in base traffic in the afternoon. Very much worth...
