One of the best park around. Good parking spots all around. Along with the park is the greatest views water view, some boats and cruise.Nice and wide pool and great picnic spots. Gives beach feeling with little sand. There is spray pad too. I found lot of pool staff but later I realised they are there for reason. Staff look very hard working. At the end of the shift doing proper cleaning. I don't see it everywhere. Worth riding little out of city if you are not from selkirk. Price is reasonable for pool too.I recommended going there at least once.

Unique place to go to. It is a round non-heated pool. I'm not sure if it is chlorine treated or just really lightly. The centre is the deepest. Great for kids to go and enjoy some sand and wading pool. Has a small splash pad too. Trees all around that provide shade. Tables are to be booked in advance. Also, looked like they have a lot of lifeguards, which is good.

You could probably call the swimming pool a small man made lake. Sandy beaches with trees for shade makes any sunny day enjoyable. Great for kids.

Selkirk Park is a fabulous place to be . The outdoor pool is free to Selkirk residents … it’s very large ..clean … with a great splash pad … lots of shade …big spotless change rooms and washrooms great picnic area .. campground … walking paths around the river .. and through the bush ..fantastic lifeguards and maintenance and park staff… also has a beautiful playground with 2 play structures… huge fenced in dog park … and an amazing skate board park … also has a boat launch … the place is just hopping all summer …and in winter the walking trail is groomed for hikes ..and there is cross country ski as well … been going there for 55yrs… now taking my Granddaughter. Fun fun in the sun highly recommended by Baba and...

The people who run that place don't know what they doing! It is frustrating having to stand in line on a hot humid day and be told it's capped at 250 when in reality there are maybe 60 people swimming. There was literally 3 swimmers on the opposite side of the pool and 5 life guards on duty what's the point? Yes safety is always a concern I get that but it was a joke to have the people wait so long! I counted 15 people leaving at one point none returning within 10 mins and they still made people wait twenty mins 😡 The life guards could use some customer service skills as well! For the amount of money I paid for my family to swim wasn't worth it! Won't be going back...

The beach was nice to sit on but the floor of the water/pool was very uncomfortable and the construction not well thought out. My friends and I could not stand in the water for more than 3-4 minutes. The bottom is made of large rocks and concrete stuck together. It would be more enjoyable if you brought water shoes, but we were expecting sand… We couldn’t access about 1/3 of the water as it was closed for lessons, but no lessons took place in the 3 hours we visited. Also, FYI you are required to pay for entrance daily per person even if you are camping. People from Selkirk can enter for free if they show proof...
