Lovely place to take a stroll by the water, sit and enjoy a picnic or just sit in your car and enjoy the beautiful water view. They have a little canteen that offers snacks, ice cream and chip truck type food. There is a nice little fenced in area for a dog park. A fairly big enough dock the several people can fish from or sit in the few benches provided. A Pavilion in case it rains or to get away from the sun. There's a little beach as well, right before the golf course, with lifeguards. Not huge but nice for family and young children. Can't go wrong with a day by the water, watching the ships go by, or the birds. People always seem to have a smile in their face when I see them walking there. This park has all the perks - a lovely waterfront, a big shed with picnic tables in it, huge mature trees providing adequate shade. There is also a platform on the water with railings and benches on which visitors can spend an enjoyable time. There are two huge piers. One even has benches on which visitors can spend time soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. Those also provide an attractive platform for anglers.
