Such a pleasant bike ride to this quaint and tranquil spot. There is a gravel path that hugs the river. You can ride with hybrid or mountain bikes, but the gravel is a bit too rough for road bikes. there’s plenty of information about eagles, their seasonal habits, nesting times and cool facts about their anatomy. I learned that they have hollow bones that weigh less than half of their 7000 feathers! Alas, I wasn’t lucky enough to catch any eagle sightings, but enjoyed sitting by a bench and watching the river swirl by. At one point I thought I saw an otter pop its head up. Maybe?
