My husband and 2.5 year old son have been going to this location every Saturday and/or Sunday for almost a year. Doing their father and son morning dates once to twice a week. Same time every weekend. They get the same thing every time. Two coffees (one for the wife), spicy sausage roll (2) Crack of Dawn (1), muffin (for the wife). The bill is between $20-25 each time. To say that the staff is rude is false but they are by no means friendly. My husband and son are repeat customers and see the same ladies working the front every weekend. Is it so hard to make your customers feel good by remembering them. The ladies treat my husband and child like they've never seen them.
Sometimes when my husband gets there the sausage rolls are not out yet so he grabs everything else and asks if he can pay for them. The lady at the register looks shocked and confused that he would ask that and says that "she doesn't know when they'll be out". My husband has no problem waiting and they are always out during the time that he is there. Little things to make your customers feel special goes a long way.
My husband has finally had enough and decided to take his $20-$50/week and bring it over to Zephyr. They may be busy but they have way better customer service.

Since it has been changed to Bean Brackendale the coffee is so much creamier and delicious and is always served up nice and hot from the super friendly staff (who know what i want before i order!!) Today was no different - I had the raspberry bundt cake with pink grapefruit glaze today which was incredible!!!! I also love the super sunny patio and best tuna melt ever!( which is usually my go to ). So much to love about this locally owned small business that supports local artists and local coffee roaster!
