Avondale Food Stores — Attraction in St. Catharines

I went to this store Saturday June 7 2025 at 2:30pm to PURCHASE something in order to get a toonie back in order to pay for parking atthe beach and she was so absolutely rude for no reason. I picked an item brought it the register and it was more than the $3 I needed to get $2 back and I explained that I'm putting it back because I need $2 change back. She then proceeded to tell me they don't sell anything for under $3 and to go somewhere else. I then picked one of the many items they had that were under $3 and bought it and asked her why she was being so rude. Instead of being helpful simply pointing out any of the many items that were less than $3 she immediately wanted me out of the store .. I don't understand I was not being rude at all I was letting other customers go ahead of me and wasn't even asking for her help. Worst place ever!! I was there at night time completely starving. The cashier told me that the store is closing in 2 mins. I honestly don’t mind hurrying up respecting the closing time of the store and I was also being very mindful to get things quick. I just hated how the cashier started to count down from 60 seconds and kept telling me to hurry up. I have also worked in retail before and I have never done anything like this to customers. Be careful with this place everyone. The older lady over charge me last time and I let it go because only for a couple bucks.
