Excellent area that has a couple of historical buildings that can be toured. The main building is an old school from 1925. Lots of cool stuff to see within the building. It’s old but interesting. There are public washrooms and it is clean and well lit. The grounds are well kept and there are benches to rest on. Nice place. August 13, 2021 There is now a restaurant here. The grounds are well kept and there are lots of Flowers. My wife and I enjoyed our visit this time also.

We went to the new Wheat Nothings Gluten Free Diner that opened up during the last month. The food is really tasty, everything but their breads and pasta noodles are made in house. It is located in the Multicultural Heritage Centre. The cost is a little too pricy for us to visit regularly. But we hope to visit again. We enjoyed by the gluten free Donair, Rueben and ravioli.

Went for Family Day 2019. Kids had a blast on the bouncy houses. There was a balloon man there making balloon animals for all the kids and face painting. Very big and clean indoor area.

Paid for wagon and mural tour for 3 people, showed up early... but wagon was already packed full and left 10 minutes early. Assumed maybe there was another wagon on its way. Found out that was the wagon we were to be on but no one organizing this event felt the need to check and make sure they had all passengers on board who had paid ahead of time. Talked with the events organizer Twyla... all she could do was offer a refund and insist that it was the fault of everyone else. "It's unpleasant when people sneak onto these things and take other peoples spots". Not once did she take responsibility for the tour guide not referring to his list of riders who paid. I asked for her to call me back or email me once she figures out what went wrong or after she spoke with the tour guide (Greg). It has been 2 days and i have yet to hear from her. Best they can do is offer a refund....

Went for the restaurant, basically in basement, with seating out on the lower deck area as well. Service was prompt. Food was tasty and historical fare, although it cooled off quickly as we were eating outside. Upstairs is one room of pioneer homestead style and another of local art display which appears to change, with a smaller open area of what also appears to be a changing display. On the second floor are a few more changeable display cases. House on site is a store of both local & imported...
