Cosmic Pizza - Town of Stony Plain — Restaurant in Stony Plain

Updated (Can't see the writing if I put at the bottom) Ali called me a few days a go wanting to "make it right". He let me know that they don't cook the chicken there that they get it from a supplier, and that he has let them know. Since we were getting our last order remade we decided to try a few other items. I like to pay for something, so the business still makes something. The remade order was better then last time. But the Chicken Fingers, don't look like the picture on the menu (I'll try to post the picture) and it's processed chicken 😝. The Onion rings were limp and went back in the oven, they were ok, but not worth ordering again. The Geek salad was ok but I had to use a few napkins because of all the water in it and got the end piece of the Roman lettuce. I would have thought they would have taken more care with the side items because of the bad review last time. Oh and they forgot the pop. When I told Ali about the sides his comment was I guess I owe you a pop next time nothing about the Chicken Fingers. It went from 2 starts to 3 and he won't have to worry about replacing the pop, since we probably won't be going back.

We were at a friend's house a while ago and had pizza from here, it was pretty good so we thought we'd try it ourselves.

When I picked up my order, I was asked to let them know what we thought. I was kind of disappointed in the pizza, for the following reasons. the pizza with the ground beef and Donaire didn't have a lot of donair meat or sauce. One of the two garlic breads was supposed to have extra garlic on it and neither had very much garlic. The chicken had a piece of bone in one bite and a piece of grisly in the other bite. Needless to say we weren't very impressed with the pizza. I sent an email, since he asked for my opinion, that was June 30 and I still haven't gotten a response. So...

Second time ordering from Cosmic. First time ordering was through Skip, started order with $20 contribution, ordered pizza/wings. Things were good. Someone even called me and thanked me for the contribution and asked me to call direct next time. So, this is the next time: I ordered same items directly from their website for delivery, one special request. Please call me when you're on site. I was tracking order through website, not on the way yet. Suddenly called by someone saying they were outside with my delivery. Went outside and there was no one there. I live in an apartment complex so I checked both lobbies. No one. I guess the driver decided to do a preempted call to ensure he was not inconvenienced by having to wait around for some lowly customer. I went back inside. I was called again by same driver saying they were outside. Then I was called by Cosmic saying their driver was outside. Only one simple ask. Call me when you have arrived and are outside. It did not mean before or after, also update the tracking function because, yes, I actually use it so no one is inconvenienced. I am tracking my order from another restaurant through Skip and so far so...

Pizza tasted great and everyone was friendly. I won't go back though because of a policy that does not make sense to me. I ordered a large four topping pizza, and I wanted four toppings on one side and 3 different toppings on the other. They explained to me on the phone that would be an extra dollar to do a split pizza, no problem! When I picked it up the gentleman kindly informed me that I had a seven topping pizza and this time it is okay but next time he would charge me as such. I completely disagree. In my opinion, the $1 charge for a split pizza is to make up for the hassle of doing such a task. If I had ordered a four topping pizza with pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, and green peppers, then decided I wanted meat on one side and vegetables on the other side, then by that gentleman's logic they would charge me an extra dollar and keep half the meat and half the vegetables in their inventory and I would not be eligible for any more toppings to replace the ones I lost - more expensive pizza with only half of the toppings. So yeah, rather than argue this point, I will choose another pizza place next time. Pizza did taste...
