Kool Breeze Farms Garden Centre & Farm Market — Attraction in Summerside

i love this place, and will definitely go again. the ONLY issue i have with it is that I find the plants sometimes go neglected. recently, I went for the sale and found every plant I brought home either extremely underwatered or root bound. And I also saw that the soil had styrofoam in it; the adansonii i bought had roots that were engulfed in styrofoam chunks and had those roots die because of it. which ended up making the plant yellow and crispy in places; i actually bought the plant because of how sad it looked and i wanted to bring it back to life

i recognize that the shop is large and it can be hard to pay attention to all plants but it’s just a concern of mine! it worries me that people who don’t know anything about plants may take one home and leave it be when it probably needs repotting. that’s genuinely the only issue i saw there and i definitely will go again, but i wanted to post this review in hopes that the plants may get a little extra loving as a result !! ❤️ i hope this review doesn’t come across as mean or rude, i really love this store and would recommend it to any of my plant...

We happened to stop here on our touristy visit of the island one random Friday. We saw a sign for fresh corn and said “Hey let’s stop here”. Let me tell you about the shock and awe as we left this place with a CAR LOAD of stuff besides corn! Wonderful selection of plants, dirt, supplies, local goods, etc. We live across the bridge and will definitely be heading back again soon, to stock up once again. I was pleasantly surprised with their collection of trending plants, ie: Monstera Thai Constellation, monstera Burle Marx flame, alocasia variegated frydek and more! I don’t have to order them online anymore, they’re available relatively local and for a way better price than online! Their discount/sale section is also wonderfully stocked, with many options for the opportunistic gardener. High highly recommend a visit if plants/gardening...

Who gets excited about plants and all the tools that go with it? I do. This place does not disappoint. The plants are so healthy, the staff super friendly. This day we enjoyed a complimentary cup of lemonade. Yummy! Then delighted by the garden whimsy decor to make you giggle but there's also decor for the memory of a favourite person or special fur baby. So much to look at! I especially noticed all the different types of perennials and seed selections. Great variety. What will we bring home today?
