The day I was there the smoke from the fires were blocking the view some from the top of the mountain it wasn't so clear and couldn't see as far because of the smoke. The trees are growing up and blocking some of the view from some spots. Its a beautiful view on a clear day. This was my first time there in about twenty years. Back in the day you were allow to haul over to see the view now not allowed too now as the Blue mountain company has a parking lot that you got to pay to park and they have a walking trail. I don't know if they have a viewing spot made or not to look out over the valley as your walking the trees would block your view. I view it the old fashion way. The Blue mountain village was cute. I didn't take in any of their activities at that time as the person that was with me wasn't interested in doing so I hope to go back and do some of them. I don't ski but they have alot of ski hills . Google it Blue mountain has a lot activity for a fit person and few for not so fit. There also a suspension bridge and caves to explore up on the mountain which is separate from the Blue mountain resort and play ground for the kids. All in the same area. Collingwood is pretty place by the water and not far from the longest fresh water beach in the world...
