View is pretty but service is bad. Come if you can tolerate rude and sarcastic service (but you may not be as unlucky as we are). We made a reservation and highlighted it's our anniversary and would appreciate a good seat. Before we arrived, I received a call about our reservation and I confirmed we are on the way. When we came, we were given a proper table 3 rows from the front of the view. (There are also seats for small bites and drinks even closer to the view). We were okay with the arrangement, but when we saw people leaving, we asked if we could be relocated to a seat closer to the view. Server 1: You've got to ask the hostess.. etc. etc... and they would never give those seats to you as it is a big table. Fair enough. So I asked the hostess. Hostess: You've got to ask your server as they would have to settle your bill. Fair enough. So we asked our server. Server 2 (our server): Oh, we don't really like people moving... Those table seats at the front are only people who made reservations and indicated they want a good seat... Unfortunately, you didn't... Also the seats out front are more for those who are just having drinks. You guys have full meals. You could take photos there if you want. But sorry. Wow. There was one guy in between these conversations who tried to help us. But I guess it was done. Experience destroyed. So sad. We are not instagrammers looking to take photos. Just wanted a nice time. This was such a lousy experience I feel like crying. *Putting on a brave face* We really hope you can do better for future guests and that you appreciate customers more. Thank you. P.S.: Food is not 1 star. We ordered the Summit Burger and Chicken Burger. They are okay. 3-star. Sides are not great. I wouldn't order the coleslaw. Best side is probably corn.

Our visit midweek began with a delightful ride to the restaurant in the gondola. The restaurant was not very busy and it took a few minutes for us to be noticed my the host. ! Our dinner reservation included the gondola ride which was a perk since we had no plans for purchasing the PASS that would have otherwise allowed access. Seating was comfortable and the view was beautiful. There was the appearance of insufficient staffing as our server was rushing constantly and delivering food and conversation as she flew by our table. We are vegetarian and knew that many menu items would be off limits. We made reservations and included our dietary restrictions. Despite this, our Caesar salad was delivered with bacon and we had to remind the server not to deliver BBQ meats. We enjoyed the food and thought the value was very good. The dessert was unremarkable. The server was very polite but we felt ignored and watched as she spent long periods of time with larger tables while we waited for our food, refills and the bill. We assume this is why some of our food was not hot upon delivery. One of the 3 dessert items was not available despite being on the website menu and physical menu. This was not disclosed to us until we asked for it and a substitute should have been available. The breakdown of our score is as follows: Setting/View - 5 Stars Food - 4 Stars Service - 2 Stars

Went last night for the first time - this should be the #1 recommended summer dining experience in Collingwood / Blue Mountain !! Astoundingly beautiful views, outdoor semi-picnic-like experience under a brand new kevlar canopy structure. Our server last night told us Blue Mountain set this up in response to COVID restrictions, and in my opinion it's a huge home run that will become a fixture. The food was very good and priced in line with other Collingwood restaurants. The weather is the weather, but the top of the Escarpment in the summer months is a pretty strong bet. Bugs were almost non-existent. Stunning scenery, our waitress Michelle was fun and very attentive, we had the beef and the chicken burgers, the caesar salad, the salmon, and some appetizers and everything save for one of the appetizers (the green pea and feta dip, which was just kind of bland) was top shelf. We were there for an adult birthday dinner and they came away raving about it. In a few years of living here in Collingwood, this was absolutely the best overall experience - atmosphere, service, view, food, drink - we've had! You can apparently ride the gondola up with a ticket (we drove though). Bravo and we'll be back!

This resturant is a joke. First it was freezing cold. There heat lamps were "out of propane". When the waitress came over to our table we asked if we could order everything at once she replied "yah that would be best case scenario". We then proceeded to order our drinks.. 2 Perrier waters... She came back with 2 bottles of regular water with the caps already opened. When we asked she said all our water caps are open. For me especially during covid if i order a bottle of water there is no need for somone to put there hands all over the cap and open my cap for me. We orderd a brie to start and the Mountain burger and salmon.... We waited an HOUR for the waitress to come back to our tabel and say oh your food is coming they juwt forgot the salmon... Excuse me.. At this point we were freezing cold and starving we asked for our food to go. The brie finally comes out. Its literally a block of cheese and some ritz crackers. To top it off the brie was frozen. I went to speak to the manager about how terrible our experience was and he replied with yes i understand the we have been monitoring the table.. Really.. So where is the customer service in letting us know ANY of this information an hour before we stay seated hungry and cold. He ended up comping the food which was the least that could have been done. Not to mention the whole time we are sitting at the table we are seated by the door no one is monitering the front after 6.30 and hanfulls of people without masks are coming in and seating themselves at tables just for the staff to run across the resturant and tell the people they are closed and they need to leave... After they leave the tables are not wiped even though they were just touched. Me and my husband are a younger couple and we feel like because of our age we were taken advantage of as the older couples seated around us had 0 probelms with there service. An absolute joke. Will...

Absolutely ridiculous! My family and I went to the Summitview Pavilion to cap off our Blue Mountain weekend trip and was completely, and rudly turned away, stating they were fully booked. They didn't even look at a chart or a book before answering. They clearly didn't even want to try to accommodate us.

We walked up and askes for a seat for some drinks (beers, wine) and was told they were full (we can clearly see the area had 4 tables from there 30 tables being used). Without looking through books or a table chart we were told "we're fully booked". We were willing to split up and sit at different tables, and was still denied. We asked for a 5 min seat, and was still denied! Not only were we denied, the attendant at the front desk and supervisor that was there on Sunday, Aug 14th 2022 at 4pm, were so disgustingly rude to my group of franchise owners and our families that we will make sure as many people as possible know how rude they are.

This completely ruined how we have always remembered Blue Mountian, as a fun family friendly, beautiful experience.

On our way down the mountain we checked the Open Table online reservation portal to see if they truly were booked, and THEY WERE NOT! There was plenty of space for our family of 8 adults and three children for hours before their next rush.

We are completely and totally disappointed and disgusted with how we were treated. But looking back, there were no people of color sitting in that restaurant, so I guess it was only full for some and widely available for others.

We took our money...
