Mountjoy Historical Conservation Area — Attraction in Timmins

Really can't believe the little league provincials were picked to be held at this park. One baseball diamond which was decent, but that's it. Bathrooms were really far away back at the parking lot, no concession stand aside from a table. It was honestly a big joke that provincials were picked to be held here. Makes me wonder what lies were told to get picked. Had an awful smell of moldy wood from the stacks of lumber across the river. The nearby forest fire was the only saving grace..... It covered up the smell of rotting wood. The drunk riding around on an e-bike was entertaining at least, especially when he fell off the bike trying to ride up the hill into traffic. Looks like a drug deal was going down under the bridge too. Lock your car doors and keep an eye...

Lots of place, lots of different activities, Rock on the river, kayak challenge, farmers market, baseball diamond, beach, walking trails,...

For a historical park, this area is all in shambles. It is nothing like the park used to be. It is sad to see the city let...
