Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Timmins

I order from Boston pizza on a regular basis so I know my order. I ordered a small pizza with just cheese and extra sauce. After I pay and leave a $3 tip on a takeout order I checked my order when I got in my car and my pizza had no sauce on it. Not only that but I ordered their three cheese toast which the young man who took my order on the phone said he couldn’t find that in the system and he didn’t know what that was so then I tried to explain it to him and he said oh yes it’s this kind of garlic bread some kind of Panera kind so I said ok as he works there and I don’t so I thought he’d know what’s he’s talking about over me even though I order from here at least 5 times a month. So the garlic bread was not the three cheese toast and something different. He told me I could not get my garlic bread changed because I agreed to it on the phone even though I told him what the name of it was when I was on the phone at first ( the three cheese toast) so he was the one that got mixed up not me but said I could not get a refund because I agreed to his mistake so then I talked to the manager and she said no you need to fix this girls order so thankfully she knew what she was doing but then I get home with the new order and the pizza is burnt and also I checked the rest of my food that I assumed they did right and my bad I should of checked the whole order and they messed that up as well. I ordered a individual size chicken ceaser salad with no bacon no curtains just the dressing and Parmesan cheese. Well it was a full sized salad with no chicken and no Parmesan cheese. So sad to say they lost a very regular customer who always tips on take out orders that I pick up my self. Not impressed at all. This is the first review I have ever written...

Very disappointed in the quality of the food at the Timmins Boston Pizza. I ordered the macaroni and cheese and my husband ordered the chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti and meat sauce. By its very definition, macaroni and cheese is supposed to be a saucy, cheesy, decadent dish. And the description in the menu suggests this as well. This was indeed the case when I ordered this same dish at a Boston Pizza near the Toronto airport in January. Here at the BP in Timmins, I was served a dry dish of elbow macaroni with hardly any sauce and a sprinkling of cheese on top. The dish was dry and tasteless. My husband’s chicken parm was ok, but the spaghetti was sorely lacking in sauce. Essentially, it was a bland, pale, side of sauce with very little sauce. Again, not the same experience as another BP in the Toronto area. By its very definition, chain restaurants should be consistent, from one restaurant to another. This was not the case. I made it very clear to the server that I was not asking for a reduction or a comp, and that I insisted on paying full price, which I did, and left a 20% tip for the young lady. I have come to work in timmins from out of town. I just finished work and I google'd the operating hours of local restaurants. It showed that Boston pizza was still open. And that I had the opportunity buddy to come and eat after work since I was staying at the hotel next door. For starters when I walked in there was nobody around in order to be seated. Then after a few minutes someone finally showed up and basically turned me around at the door stating that they did the last call a while ago and no one was around so they decided to close early. I am not onot impressed, but also very disappointed.In regards to operating hours as compared to closing whenever they feel like it. Just because there may or may not be anybody coming in does not mean nobody will show up. I am very unsatisfied with the idea of closing early. I am very unsatisfied with the idea of closing early. Some people are just Arriving from work at this time Would potentially enjoy some kind of late evening meal Thinking that the google operating hours are correct. I would suggest that they follow the operating hours that they have online or change them. Extremely unsatisfied and disappointed.
