I attended a childs birthday party at this establishment this past weekend. The facility is quite old school and offers some nostalgia as to what a bowling alley was like when I was a kid. I did enjoy this aspect. However, the women's washroom is very dated and not up to any modern standards. There is no changing station, and the extremely heavy door made it difficult to enter with a stroller. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to gain entry with a wheelchair or a walker. The general atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was very friendly with the exception of a young strawberry blonde youth working at the main counter. He appeared to be very courteous to the customers but did not extend the same towards his coworkers. He was the only staff I saw not in uniform, so perhaps he is management and not part of the team. The staff taking care of the birthday party (food services) did a great job with all of the individual orders and keeping the children happy. Overall, it was a good experience, and the kids had a great time. With a few minor tweaks, this place would...
Read moreI have been bringing my Summer Camp to Parkway Bowl as a field trip for the past 3-4 summers and the children always have a blast! It is always a pleasure to reconnect with Karen to book the trip and for the duration of the visit, Karen and her staff (we met Ethan this year) were so lovely to interact with. Although a number of the children did not know their shoe sizes, they were patient and helpful to keep offering different sizes until we found the right fit for each child. When the gutters suddenly dropped down, Ethan was extremely quick to come over to raise it back for our campers. At the end of the trip, Karen even printed out all of the scores for us to distribute to the campers so they could memorialize the experience. She also offered $5 coupons to our campers and staff to use in a future visit.
See you again Karen & Ethan, thank you for everything! (The kids were so hungry after bowling, but couldn't stop talking about it during lunchtime - you truly made their day and started off our summer [trips] on...
Read moreBest place for a fun party! You can choose the alley, 10 pin, 5 pin, and for the toddlers 5 pin with rails. No frustration service from beginning to the end. They set you up in the system by name and the monitor prompts you to play, so no knowledge of scoring is required! They have a separate room for food, pizzas were good and fun for kids. FYI... No alcohol permitted which makes it safe from the rowdy bunch. Prep area adjacent made service and seating easy. The washrooms were all clean. Seating in lounge areas and bowl areas were very comfortable. There are also black light nights on weekends after 8pm where everything glows in the dark! We were fortunate on our day off to have the place to ourselves for a little black light fun! Thank you to Karen who was so attentive which made for a memorable birthday party and all round fun celebration! We'll definitely be back for some more fun with friends and family. The kids have so...
