Very accessible (even by bus), gorgeous beach with free entrance and parking!
It's not as busy as other beaches like the Bluffs, even on weekend holidays like Canada Day.
There's also some shade under the trees for a nice picnic (unlike other beaches where you have to be under the sun at all times). Another good feauture is the nearby washroom facility (may not be the cleanest though). Garbage and recyling bins are also available all around, which is a plus!
You can also go fishing, do water activities like kayaking or paddling along the waters, and cycle along the path.
