My Saturday morning ritual at the Evergreen Farmers Market is an absolute delight! Here's a step-by-step guide to make the most of it:
Start your day by getting a steaming cup of coffee. Explore the culinary wonders with French pastries from Hadrien Verrier, Jamaican patties from Bashy Patties, and a refreshing green juice from Earth and City. Depending on your mood, indulge in a tapioca crepe at Tapioca Toronto, a fresh waffle from Waffle Huis, a vegetarian gozleme at Queen Gozleme, or a savory crepe from CrepeDeLa CrepeTo. Take a leisurely stroll to the kids' playground or the pond to admire the fish and turtles. Enjoy some live music while you savor your treats and take a peaceful walk in the park. Don't forget to pick up some fresh, organic veggies at the market. Treat yourself (or your kid!) to a popsicle from Happy Pops. Return home with a satisfied belly, ready to indulge in a relaxing afternoon nap.

Spent half an hour driving, paid for parking and was at the door at 12:47pm, only to be told that the market is closed and the vendors are "packing up" and are no longer "allowed to sell"; the vendors were in plain view with merchandise on the tables (not packing) and customers wondering around/paying for purchases. Will be making alternate arrangements directly with the vendor I was coming to see for future purchases.
To management: If doors close early to provide vendors with additional time to pack up, please clarify that on your website so people don't waste their time and money on gas/parking, only to be turned away...

The Blueberry Scone was awesome, light and airy, the crust was crunchy. Went there with my mom, we had a fabulous time. She had a breakfast egg sandwich. My mom mentioned that it was really good. Walked around and did some shopping. Then we walked around the pound. It was a perfect day to be out and about. The best part, even though we were in Toronto, it didn't feel like it. It felt like a little Muskoka town. So much green, oh just so beautiful. Parking can be a little tricky, but if you are patient and a little lucky, we didn't wait long for a space. You can also take your bike there, new bike path, new traffic lights to get in there easier. I just...
