Many times driving on the highway I saw a tall red brick chimney with the word Todmorden on it and finally last summer I talked my husband into visiting it. Lovely park, old trees, tiny art gallery and two beautiful historic residential buildings. Gallery was opened but to get inside the residential buildings you have to ask the employee at the front desk to give you a tour ( about 30 minutes). The old mills has been taken over by the Canada Museums and also boasts of a theatre which can seat nearly 200 people. It converts to a film theatre too. Read moreWow, what a wonderful park tucked in this seemingly small space, but what you notice as you start to adventure through the multiple beautiful trail routes in this park, is that it's actually a fairly decent size! Plenty of sights to see and also wildlife to find, tree covered pathways, ponds and rivers, information about the area, picnic tables for picnicking! And there's a Dairy Queen way up the top of the the massive hill, at least you know you've worked out before getting some dessert after...
