Amazing place! I can't believe we didn't know about this before! What a hidden gem! We googled places to hike or walk and this was one of the choices. If you like taking pics, this is your kind of place! So beautiful! It is important to stay on the path to preserve this wonderful natural spot. We took lots of pics! With the changing seasons we will return to a different look. Easy to get to with The Google. Many folks were readying on benches. We took our time and walked the loops in about an hour. I am sure you could easily walk it in 45min. Love that it is not a huge time commitment. No worries for people with mobility issues, that I could see at least. We parked by the subtle sign in our pick. Not a lot of parking, but we had no problem finding a space on the small street. We highly recommend this place!

Well-kept trails, benches throughout at good intervals, informative signs - this is really a lovely spot. A great place for a brisk hike or a slow meander to view the ducks and birds, to hear the breeze blowing through the bulrushes and the songs of the birds. I saw friends walking together, others sitting on a bench talking, cyclists, school groups and yet there was lots of space and quiet to enjoy the beauty of nature and the rest of solitude. I will be back.

We didn't get to walk this beautiful trail but we did picnic at the tables there. There was a portapottie but no garbage can. Very convenient place to stop though. Made a second trip so we could walk the trail. Lovely spot! Easy walk around the pond but not accessible for walkers or wheel chairs (might be ok for motorized chairs). Lots of birds: geese, ducks, red winged blackbirds etc. Benches and lookouts along the path. Convenient parking.

I visit here every few weeks to do some birding. Overall it is a pleasant park but it can be crowded at time. It is a multi-use park so walking quietly down the trails is often interrupted by friends fast-walking and talking, runners, cyclists or some personal motorized vehicles. People are friendly so if you want to go to a park with friendly people then this is good.

There are a few spots you can get off the trail for birding but others have used these for other things as well but not that bad. I did watch a man go to a spot where he clearly had his liquid hidden in a hollow in a tree and drink. I suspect it wasn't water.

The trail is short but you can connect to the longer Harvest Moon trail if you want.

The birding is good but I suspect part of that is just the frequency of birders so every bird passing through is noted. So the frequency of birds is likely no better than other spots along the river but the frequency of birders is better.

There are some benches with views of the marsh and water but they are only really useful outside of the growing season. The area could use 1 additional bench and view of the river as well as 1 bench and open area to see the marsh at one end. Normally I would not suggest this but since this is an urban park with folks with all interests visiting then allowing them to see more into the marsh might be...

It's okay. Too many people though and the no trespassing signs on the north side were kinda trashy. Lots of noise from the town as well but me and the pup had a good walk and I got lots of pictures of birds so that's awesome. I like that they provide poop bag stations even though I was responsible and brought my own. Good to know they are there in case I forget mine.

Too many people to really enjoy the nature around you when every minute or so somebody is walking past you. Not good for people...
