I've never been let down, except when they've become super busy and I never had the foresight to order earlier, but that's not their fault.
The owners and workers are always really nice people to talk to, and easy to get along with. You can tell they love what they do because it shows in the food every time.
The pizza and garlic fingers are always top notch. It's my go -to stop in the Annapolis Valley because it's so good. My youngest son won't eat pizza except if it's from here as well.
The pizza is always great. Their dough is made in house and your can buy it to take it home. The flavour and texture is always great. No raw dough in the pizza, and the flavour is mellow and never has a flour taste like some places.
The cheese and other toppings aren't too much or too little either and are always balanced. Some other places use toppings with odd tastes, such as a liquorice flavour in the salami/pepperoni (can't recall the spice), or they aren't cooked enough.
The sauce is the business as well. Not too much or too little. And it has a nice taste without being straight up tomato sauce or funny tasting.
And the cheese. Probably the best cheese I've had on pizza. Other local places use rubbery or watery tasting cheese, or mass ordered Wish.c0m cheese that is ok but not the best. I'm really not sure where these guys get theirs or what brand it is but it's a legit soft and melt in your mouth quality cheese that doesn't spark my lactose intolerance most of the time.
Overall if I order pizza I'll drive from 25 minutes away to get it from...
Read moreThought I would reshare my experience from 2018- never posted my review on here, this is on their facebook
“So I’ve been waiting to make this review as I wanted to make sure I didn’t post anything I would regret. For those who know Mitchell and I we LOVE natalinos pizza. We always ordered them even though the wait times would be crazy. I contacted the owner in April (I still have the message) asking if he would be available for our wedding in October. He said no problem just come in sometime and we can set up pricing. I came back around May or June and we discussed everything. I asked do I pay now? Make a deposit? To make sure he can for sure do pizza for our wedding. He then stated no it will be no problem!! Come the day before or whatever.. so I went 2 days before and gave him the cash and everything went great. 2 hours after he calls and says sorry we can’t do this I have another order that I need to do. I WENT IN 6 MONTHS AGO but nope all I got was I have to do the other order. 2 days before my big day. He did offer to do half the order at 530 and the other half at 8 (yeah I’ll just get half my guest to wait 2 hours before having supper lol) I then proceeded I need to come get my money and he ask if it can wait until tomorrow. Needless to say I went and got my money as I had to scramble to find another pizza place. Unfortunately they lost a...
Read moreWhile the pizza is usually good, the whining on social media about justified bad reviews has soured my opinion of this business. It is completely acceptable for someone to leave a poor review because something that should be readily available at lunchtime, slices, was not. The majority of the time I go in for a slice I'm told "15 minutes". That is not acceptable for "the biggest slice in the Valley" when the slice doesn't exist most of the time. Usually I'll just go spend my money in NM at a pizza shop that can keep up.
Calling reviewers opinions' stupid, and not accepting any responsibility for the lack of supply, is only going to lead people to go elsewhere. Being busy is only good for the one making the money, not the customer who can't grab a slice without waiting around for one. But if that's the way you want to approach things, whine and act entitled on social media over a few bad reviews while bragging about being busy in the same post, then there's many other pizza shops that will gladly take the business...
