The beach and lake are gorgeous but the sites are packed in! The neighbors septic was connected right beside the picnic table thanks to how tight it was and how many blocks we needed to even get unhooked, we couldn't even move it away. There's zero privacy in the section we were in, every square inch of cleared land was made into a site. We were okay with all of that because we were just using it to sleep at while we visited some family with a cabin nearby all day but the reason I chose to leave a review when I normally don't is that on our final morning, one of the workers came into our site and started speaking rudely to my father and husband right in front of my young children. It was completely unprovoked, unprofessional and unnecessary. My dad booked two sites, one for us and one for my sister's family and the worker was saying that because my dad registered he had to be staying in that site (he can't be in two places at once so don't let one person book two sites if that’s the case). Upon hearing parts of this conversation through the windows, both my mom and I exited the camper (after the worker had left) asking who had been speaking to them so rudely and my children were asking about what had just happened and why. When my dad went to the front building as requested, he walked in on the lady venting loudly and inaccurately to her coworker (saying we had random people se didn't know staying in our second site). Thankfully he dealt with a different woman who was amazing and super apologetic about her coworkers unprofessional demeanor and they got the original issue dealt with quickly, kindly and politely. I wish she was the one that would have came to our site instead! It was really disappointing that the one lady chose to speak to campers that way, especially right in front of...

my boyfriend and i have come camping here multiple times and we love it everytime. i wish there was a little more privacy around the sites but we dont mind neighbours everytime we've gone and have never had an issue. the beach is wonderful and i enjoy that alot of amenities is a short distance away. they even have a small liquor store not too far from the campsite ! i enjoyed that there was a marina by the beach but i wish the guys that worked there were a little friendlier. we had booked a paddle boat for the both of us and the steering ended up breaking in the middle of the lake on our way back to shore. we finally flagged down an employee that was on his way to work at the marina and he "towed" us back with his boat. we got back and explained the situation to the guys inside and no friendly customer service what so ever. no apologies, nothing. it was just rude. other than that, this...

During our cross canada-trip in our motorhome, this has been our favourite stop so far! We stayed for a week and a half, the campground is very clean and well maintenced, there was a water break one morning that affected all the water in the campground and they had it fixed within 30 minutes! The showers are a lot cleaner than a lot of other ones we've been to. The beach in the campground is absolutely beautiful, sandy and sunny and the bay is a good shelter from the wind. The water is so clean and clear too, and it's a great lake for paddle boarding or kayaking. There was no rowdy campers, definitely a family friendly park and there is 3 different stores all walking distance from the campground, and a 24 hour laundromat. And a nice hiking trail right in the campground teaching hikers about the meteor and the lake. Awesome place, we...

We stayed there over the long weekend and we were very disappointed in the sites. Everyone was packed in like sardines. No privacy between sites. Neighbours sewer hookup is right next to picnic table. Some of the public shower buildings were permanently closed so there was only one central shower house. Garbage bins were few and far between. No recycling bins anywhere on campground.Had to drive to Falcon lake for repair items for trailer .everything shut down by 10 pm on weekend(store, restaurant, bar) . No little canteen or restaurant close by to grab snack or ice cream .Not a lot of options for fully serviced sites . We will look for a different campground next time

Beautiful Beach . Campground is wide open no trees between campers . The grey and black water connection for full service seems to be missing a ring so almost constant septic smell leaking out. As you are sitting about 20 ft away it’s a bit stinky. I packed mine with a garbage bag to fill in the opening and covered it with a garbage bag. Mine is better but the neighbours not so much .
