Uxbridge Optimist Fantasy of Lights — Attraction in Uxbridge

Frustrating to travel this far only to find out you're closed. I would understand that you're closed due to maintenance because of strong winds the night before. You updated your Google maps status on Saturday telling people you'll be back today. And when we got there, there were several cars lining up while there's only a truck blocking the entrance with no sign that it's closed whatsoever. Not even a person there to tell people to go home so we didn't have to wait in line. I hate giving a one star and I'd rather not comment but others need to make sure to contact you before going there. Edit: Sorry to hear about the difficulty you experienced that night and my review didn't help either. You're good people with a good cause and didn't deserve that. Love when the community gets together for a cause. Please donate what you can! A beautiful display of festive lights! I really enjoyed the thought and effort put in. Important to note that local businesses/ organizations /families are donating the installations ! Which was fun to see! Especially the ac unit display 😂! Would highly recommend! We went on Christmas Day (may be the last day they are open this year due to lockdown). The light displays and music are quite enjoyable for all ages.

Our only complaint was the 40 min. wait time as majority of traffic like us are coming from west and turning into Elgin Park from Toronto St, but for some reason they make you drive past the entrance and do a U-turn at Concession rd 7 which is really not fair. The people who are coming from East get to turn in from Concession 7 basically cuts 90% of the line and ends up waiting...
